Treatments
Being able to support my clients through body work is one of my favourite aspects of the vast healing capacity of Ayurveda.
Based in Jervis Bay, the Southern Coast of New South Wales, I am offering in-person, hands-on, gentle & healing touch for any who would like to receive. There is such an unspeakable power in accessing healing through the body, bypassing the barriers of the mind.
This is particularly complimentary when working with me 1:1 on specific health concerns so I have a deeper understanding of what is happening for you but, of course, this form of treatment is nourishing for anyone seeking some integrated, devotional bodywork. Allow yourself some gentle rest and nurturing. I will hold you in this potent return to self.
I have made these offerings as accessible as possible considering the necessary knowledge base, materials and my experience level. ABHYANGA
$175 / 90 minutes - with Marma Points
$150 / 75 minutes - Without Marma points
A beautiful, nurturing massage. Stimulates the lymphatic system and pacifies the nervous system. Vital in removing blockages, increasing circulation, expelling toxin build up and bringing a deep sense of groundedness.
+ Pacifies all Doshic imbalances but is particularly useful in treating Kapha aggravations where there is stagnancy, heaviness & excess moisture to create free-flowing, strong circulatory systems.
+ Abhyanga is also specific for Vata aggravations when there is a need to strengthen the body’s expulsion and nervous systems and nourish the deeper tissues.
+ For our Pitta aggravations, a space to rest, feel instead of think & pacify the overly analytical mind is also a wonderful path to healing.
KATI BASTI
$120 / 1 hour
Kati Basti is Ayurveda’s remedial massage equivalent. Specified for lower back issues and spinal pain, this is a well of hot oil maintained at a high temperature for the duration of the treatment and followed by a vigorous massage. Outstanding results for removing blockages and easing pain.
This requires a consultation prior to ascertain the placement of the Basti dough on the back and the number of treatments necessary for your specific concerns. This could also be discussed following an Abhyanga massage.
SHIRODHARA
Black Sesame Oil - $170
Medicated Shirodhara Oil - $200
Shirodhara is one of the most profound treatments in Ayurveda. This is a continuous flow of medicated oil pouring at the head followed by a head massage. Assists in releasing emotional trauma, providing nourishment to the brain, stabilising and calming the nervous system.
It is always best to book a consultation prior so we can give you a considerable amount of time to discuss anything past, present and emerging in your emotional world.
However, you are welcome to book without doing this & we will allocate some time at the beginning and end to discuss anything that may come up.
+ Allow for around 75 minutes including talking time.
+ You will be given the remaining oil at the end of your treatment to be used for your own personal Abhyanga practice at home to reduce wastage and environmental impact.
+ Alternatively, you can reuse the oil for follow-up Shirodhara treatments at a discounted price.
GREEVA BASTI
$120 / 1 hour
Greeva Basti is very similar to Kati Basti but surrounding the neck and conditions pertaining to this part of the body. It is a well of hot oil at the neck with the temperature maintained at a high heat, followed by a back and neck massage. This will also require an appointment prior!
